We really re happy with this slicer. It cuts well easy to use, eay to clean, works good didnt slide around. It saves us money. We buy meats in bulk and slice steaks and pork chops. Strips and bag. We re saving hundreds of dollars on meat. Buy one and have 2-3 months or more for 1 month budget.

Flings meat chunks all over, and extremely difficult to clean. Tried to return but the cost would be $117-140 to return! I regret my purchase big time! It’s going to take a lot of work to try and remove the blade to clean. Definitely would not have purchased had they stated that they don’t intend for blade to be removed. Even in their manual it doesn’t say to ever remove the blade.

Slicer worked better than expected. Very happy with my purchase! Easy to use and fairly easy to clean. Love that fact that it has built in sharpening stones.

The machine is leaning more toward commercial grade. Thing weighs 55#. Accurate, precise, nothing cheap about it. Cuts better than a deli or meat market. Love it, love it, love it.

I got this for my birthday. It is a near professional piece of equipment. We like thin sliced roast beef off the spit. This slicer can cut it paper thin. It is a little larger than it looks so check your storage space. Heavy duty and the last one I will have t buy. Watch for sales. We got ours for just under $300.

The Burton slicer is an awesome slicer when set-up correctly. It comes well packaged and protected for shipping, the same cannot be said once it’s on the counter. The instructions are worth the printing however a few videos help. I disassembled, removed, adjusted and reassembled everything but the internal motor, fan and electronics. Even the Allen screw feet had to be removed, to get to the blade guard nuts, plus lots of rust removed, prior to reassembly. Adjustments are not intuitive so plan on taking the time required, you’ll save on future damage and frustration. That being said this slicer will perform well. I sliced a whole packer, after a 18 hour smoke and an 8 hour chill, and the slices were clean and consistant. A whole smoked ham was sliced into deli slices on the thinnest setting before freezing 1/2lb food saver packages.**Recommended Product**
