We are using this set of lace lock to keep our shoe lace from being untied. While it works reasonably well, it won’t completely keep it tied during walking. I like that the opening is nice and large so that we can use it on the heavy duty hiking shoes. It does slip slightly over time and would need to be adjusted.

These clasps are serviceable for retaining glove ties or the strings on small bags. They are a bit thinner than I am used to and would have expected, so they can be a little harder to operate than bulkier spherical or cylindrical ones. The springs also feel a little light, but they thus far have held well enough.
