Easy to put together though it takes a while. Took us about 45 min. It works and my son is using it a lot. it does bounce the ball back and can be adjusted and angled.

If you came to the comments wanting to know if this would fit in a car, look no further. While I like the idea of the 7 ft tall rebounders, I had little hope of those being transported in (my) car without laborious tear-down. This 4'x4' bounce-back just fits into my mini-minivan, a Mazda 5, and with room for only one passenger. If you have a full size minivan, I think it would fit in there nicely and keep the middle row of seats available. I think this would probably fit into a Honda Fit but maybe not most economy hatchbacks. Anything bigger though, and it goes.I'm quite happy with this overall. My son was able to legitimately help me put it together on his 10th birthday. Pretty straightforward if just a little bit tedious, but I think that would be true for any of them. As far as the elastic tie-downs, they seem like a pretty good solution for allowing fairly simple total tear down when needed or post-season. Also, it's supposed to come with 25 of those, and ours came with 29 or 30! I just used them all and I imagine that will give us just a little bit stronger rebound.The stakes work, almost, but they're small enough that you need to be quite conscious about what angle you put them in. I'm lucky to have good, dense grass and firm soil and they hold fairly well, but these would do little in sandy soil. I really think longer stakes would be a simple and worthwhile improvement. Sandbags or something similar would do a great job keeping it stable (and improving rebound), but if this is to be transported to a field, a couple of kids' duffels night do the job.On the other hardware included, there are just two nuts and bolts to put together. One of those nuts wasn't threaded properly, and doesn't screw onto its bolt. A minor problem, and I'm happy to trade having to find another nut for the extra elastic ties, but that cheap hardware and the too-short stakes are the only reasons I deducted a star.This is definitely both a useful training device and good short term fun, too.

This was easy to put together and it's got pretty decent weight to it.I got this for my husband so he could practice throwing and hitting baseballs. I had no idea how much fun this thing would bring to our yard. Our dog has a large collection of balls and he loves to chase them around the yard. Now we throw his balls and this and they bounce off and the dog loves to chase them around and try to catch them in the air.Basically, everyone loves this thing and I'm glad we got it. It feels pretty sturdy so we're hoping to use it for years to come.
