I specifically bought this item because I was looking for a Velcro strap leg guard set. When the package arrived, I was disappointed to see that I was mailed a plastic clip closing set instead.I’d imagine that these will break soon as kids are pretty rough on their catcher’s gear.Super disappointing to not get what was pictured in the item description, but will have to use them since the season starts tomorrow.

After my husband suffered an injury to his shin from a piece of wood jumping out from the woodsplitter he asked me to find him some protection. He is very happy with these shin guards and has used them for the past few months without any further incidents.

These are great for my son the metal clips tend to fall off too much and delays the game these stick really good and need minimal adjustment

I use these for umpiring and they are good only thing that holds this back from 5 stars are the straps. They sometimes pop off other then that these are good and light.

I have been a softball coach for over 12 years. I must say that the product is a good product. The only con of this product is that the strap slips from the bucket from time to time. It is a hassle to have to call time out several times during a game to reattach them.
