Which Stride Right Pitching Mat should I buy?
3 x 7 Foot (3mm Rubber backing for hard flat surfaces)
Accommodates up to a 6 foot stride or most 15u Softball pitchers and almost all ages for baseball (baseball strides are shorter especially on flat ground). Best if used on hard flat surfaces.
4 x 10 Foot (3mm Rubber backing for hard flat surfaces)
Accommodates up to a 8.5 foot stride or virtually 100% of all ages and pitchers (longest professional strides are around 7 feet).
4 x 10 Foot Anti-Slip PVC Pad (+8mm padding for hard flat surfaces, turf, and carpet)
Add if you want more padding and anti-slip properties especially if you are planning on using on carpet or turf. Your padding provides Stride Right Mats an incredible backing when using on turf or carpet to prevent any sliding or bunching. I will say, it’s true to size, 10’x 4’. It took a full 24 hours for ends to lay down flat from shipping. I am skeptical of how long this rug will last, I thought I was getting turf. This feels more like a rug to sit on for reading than for pitching. I will update later.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is 8 and beginning to fast pitch. It helps her to remember her foot position, which is very important.

I like that I can see where my daughters foot lands. It does slip and slide forward. So after every pitch we have to tug it back. We use it on top of turf so I just duct tape it down

It’s basically a large industrial style floor mat with colored lines and numbers on it. Which are useful however I use it everyday for lessons and it didn’t last very long not to mention unless it’s on a hard surface it slides. I had it over turf and I was constantly adjusting it. It would have been worth the money if it was heavier duty.So if you plan on using it a lot find something else

Great pitching mat especially for online pitching sessions via Zoom as it helps the coach communicate specific goals or measurements for the pitchers stride and foot placement. The mound is sturdy and wide so great to push off on. Note that the mat itself does not have a thick bottom like some powerlines do buy it is sturdy and waterproof on the bottom for moisture protection.

We bought this for my 14 year old daughter to use during indoor winter practices with her travel team and absolutely love it. It's stores nicely under her bed and is very easy to transport. It comes with a strap that goes around it at both ends and you just carry over your shoulder. The back of the mat is rubber which prevents the mat from slipping around the floor. We've used it outdoors a couple times in our driveway and worked great there as well. It was used by other pitchers on her team as well and has proven to be extremely durable. I expect this mat to last for many years! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pitching mat.

This mat is awesome ! My daughter has been pitching for 7 years. She needs a plate to push off of. This is perfect for her lesson. Her coach has been coaching for over 30 years. He loves this mat!!
