Great cage for the price. The trick is: take your time , read the directions carefully and have a helper. I was concerned with the negative reviews but took a chance.

We have been having a lot of fun using it. We have 3 kids all in softball & baseball. We got sponsors for our freshman high school grand daughter to play for her school. It cost $420. for her to play. With Covid they haven't played much!!! All sports are so expensive these days!! We used some of the money for this net & machine. This gives them great practice batting at home. I'm 58, haven't hit a ball in years!! I got in there & hit 10 balls no problem. It's a fun family outdoors thing to do.. We all take turns. We have only had it up for a few days. I'd hate to give it any rating.. Hope we have years of fun with it.. :)

Great product. We bought a refurbished one. Needed better instructions. Guess that was our fault. I would definitely recommend this product though. Great for my kids 8 and 13.

The cage and pitching machine came as expected. The cage was easy to set up, and is very durable. (Buy extra tape). The machine has much to be desired. To start, because this machine has no Auto-Stop feature. It is hard for the machine to get up to speed before a ball drops from the feeder. This has led to us personally hand feeding each ball. Secondly, it is slightly erratic, but not to the point of not using it. It does overheat a bit, and if you do not have it properly secure, it will vibrate to the point of actually increasing its own speed. The dial gets affected gradually. The recoil from the machine can also loosen its position forcing you to readjust, getting 8 out of 12 balls on point. This has led to us having to be near the machine for each session. I suggest securing in addition to the stakes provided. I also recommend buying lite balls. Regulation balls can be used but it can wear out your young ones hands quickly. 3 out of 5 Stars.

As some of the reviews have pointed out - the support system isn't the greatest. I'm hoping to get a few seasons out if it but already have a plan to build my own. One of the poles wasn't glued together but was easily fixed with epoxy. The netting is a little thin, but adequate. Our biggest problem is rabbits. in just a couple of days we've had a couple of holes chewed thru the net. Recommend hooking the net up at night to prevent critter problems. The pitching machine is pretty good - my daughter rates it an 8 out of 10. Our recommendation would be for the company to create a ball stop in the auto feeder that would allow you to release the balls once the machine gets to speed. The problem is the feeder starts to work the ball towards the drop chute as soon as the machine is turned on which usually makes the first couple of balls drop short. Once the wheel is up to speed the balls come across pretty well. The speed is adjustable, which is nice for different levels of hitters. We also like the ability to shoot pop fly's & fast ground balls. Overall we really like the system. It's not going to last forever but I'm sure we'll get our money's worth out if it.
