Have not used it yet but this stand is built like a tank. Welded seams heavy duty stand, will easily hold a 8 foot tree.

Bought this to replace our 60 year old tree stand which finally rusted through, and they won't cover it under warranty, if company is even still in business.lolThis stand is impressive. Very heavy duty to hold our usual 9 to 10 foot trees. The trunk grippers are just threaded onto end of each of the four eye bolts. These need to be either loctited fast or use another nut against each one to lock in place. Otherwise, as some have complained, they get buried into tree trunk and lost if not noticed when taking tree down, or needed to dig out of the tree. Originally to be delivered Dec 26, but came early, so had to repair oil one with flex paste. I'll use the new one starting next year.If you require adecent stant for large trees, this is it!

We have always had the metal screw in stands but this one is by far the best. It is such high quality and will last for years. Easy to use and super sturdy.

We had a much cheaper plastic tree stand for years... our tree almost fell over last year, I had to run a wire from the wall to hold it up :(I had my eye on this stand since last December, but this year I bit the bullet and bought it.I am so glad that I did, this stand is a beast. The water reservoir holds enough water for at least 2 days and the stand is very sturdy. It was fairly expensive, but you have to pay for quality :)

I remember using this design decades ago. I've tried many other styles since, but this product shines. The metal is thick and the welds are strong. I expect this will be my last tree stand for years.

Been looking for a Christmas tree stand for several months and discovered the Jack stand. This is a well built stand that can sustain a trunk size of 15cm and tree height of 3m. The base holds at least 5L of water and only requires top up every 3-4 days. The base also has a mount which allows water to be absorbed by the tree. Generally a very good purchase and will keep for several years to come.

After not having a live tree for decades and now having a 6 year old, I wanted to have that experience of going out and cutting down a live tree! It was going to be large and I knew I needed a sturdy stand to hold a tall tree!!! This fit the bill perfectly!!! REAL STEEL!!! And WELDED!!! Not a cheap stamped piece of Chinese junk!!! This stand is solid, and it is holding our 11ft tree quite nicely!!! I definitely recommend it if you are going to have a live tree!!! And I wanted the widest base possible, this stand is 24” wide I believe, and STURDY!!! Worth the money!

I have been using a real tree for Christmas the past few years, sticking with small elf trees or 4' max in height. This year I wanted to get a full, 6' tree but was skeptical based on friends telling horror stories about their trees simply falling over for no reason. I did plenty of research and found this. I bit my tongue and paid the price, which I will admit I found to be high. However, the price was completely worth it! It is extremely sturdy, coated well so I do not think that rust will be an issue, and as a small, 5'2 woman it could not have made setting up the tree any easier. I hope to have this stand for years to come.In summary, this was the perfect investment for someone who wants to continue using real trees for years to come. I would highly recommend this item.

This tree stand is a high quality stand, that performed as well as I had expected, It had no problem with the 7+ foot tree that I bought. I felt that it was extremely sturdy and held a good amount of water. One of the locking bolts on it was damaged, but I could probably replace it cheaply from a local hardware store and it didn't affect the stability at all.
