I bought these after one bkack eye and another eye poke in 2 weeks. However, the side panels are opaque and limit peripheral vision. This is particularly important on defense, seeing screens coming. I stopped using them after two games.

I bought these for weed whacking/trimming and they are just what I was looking for. Great protection, lenses/frame/plastic is strong and durable; and the rubber parts are efficient and comfortable. The design helps them stand off my face a bit, but not enough to allow small bits or dust to sneak in. They are not bulky like other protective eyewear I have tried.
