I used to use sandbags to fix my kids' outdoor basketball stand, but I had to strictly control the time. I had to replace the bag about every 3 to 4 months, otherwise my driveway would become a desert, which made me very annoyed. So when I saw this basketball stand sandbag, I ordered it without hesitation. Now it has been guarding the basketball stand for almost 3 months, and it is still in good condition, so I think it is a competent sentinel.

So, I had bags of rocks holding my basketball goal in place and it looked pretty bad. Plus, as kids stood on the rocks to adjust the height of the rim, the plastic on the bags were starting to rip and rocks were starting to fall out. I saw this and ordered it immediately. It looks way better and should hold up over time. Just be careful with the zipper or you can pull it off as there is no "stopper" on it to prevent that from happening. Ask me how I know! lol

Who knew they made such a thing. I came across this when I purchased our basketball hoop. This is a zippered bag that you can fill with sand for extra protection for the base. We chose to put bags of sand instead of pouring the sand in the bag. You still need to follow the directions and put sand in the base this bag is for extra protection to prevent damage to the hoop in high winds and etc. We only put two 45 pound bags in but we have room to fit at least two more bags in there if we wanted to. It is waterproof and windproof. It fits perfect on the base.
