These bass drum spurs went right on our kick drum for which the spurs had been lost. Good price, quick shipping.

Overall these work and are fairly sturdy. They are budget friendly and for the price, they are exceptional. The gear locks stay locked. My bass drum doesn't move. Overall, that's a win.I'd like to call out something that makes it different from the picture. If you'll notice in the picture, where you screw your screws into, is recessed. Meaning you would only need to drill for the screw itself. The spurs that arrived are not like that. They extend quite a bit, and so you'll actually need to drill a much larger set of holes in order to mount these.Things that make this a value item, rather than a high quality item:1. There's no gasket. This will inevitably eat into your wrap or finish.2. No screws were provided. I went to the hardware store to pick up 6 screws + washers, which cost me an additional $5.3. The tension rod that tightens the extension of the leg just screws directly onto the leg itself, rather than tightening a clamp. Fortunately, it's not leaving dents in the pole, but it's not a very secure way of tightening these.
