I love these plates. Covers up all the mismatched outlets in an old home! they fit well and look great! They install like any other plate with just one screw. we got the white ones

These plates modernize and update the look of the usual outlet found in older properties. Works especially well if you have an outlet with a color, other than white, that you want to eliminate and do not want to re-wire with a more modern outlet. Now, having said this, I wanted a black outlet for my TV wall, so I primed one of these with a "sticky" primer and painted it with 2 coats of "pearl" finish paint. OMG! Too an older version beige outlet to new heights all without an electrician and not risking a fire by having painted the older version outlet. Going to use these throughout the property to update the look of all the outlets. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these.

The look really nice and heavy duty, but I didn't realize that my outlet plates all are 2-hole not 1-hole. My fault entirely.

So glad that I discovered these!Just recently painted my condo and my outlets are old and yellow looking ... I even got a few estimates to have all the outlets all changed out and they wanted $650.00 - $750.00!!! Bought these and changed them myself and saved me a lot of money! .. Pretty easy and they look and work great!

My house was built in the 70s and has a lot of design quirks. The original owners chose black wall outlets for every room. I've since painted all the original wood paneling white which accentuated the old black wall outlets. I stumbled on these outlet covers when I was researching another item and couldn't believe my luck. Bates to the rescue! No rewiring or messing with electricity necessary to achieve a sleek and modern look. So far I've installed 10 and will be ordering more. These are a brilliant idea and kudos to the person who invented them!
