I installed this to replace an older unit which died. I am a contractor and installation was as easy as it could have been. I connected it to our existing 4" duct work which terminated in our eaves. We have a small toilet/shower room (35 sq ft) and it doesn't remove any moisture. The room is is completely wet everywhere during a long shower. I was expecting this fan to keep the room less humid as our old fan, which was rated for a lot less CFM, could do. I will be changing it out again as we are starting to deal with mold now.
