My son really wanted a backplate for football. This one fit the bill. It will not fit youth shoulder pads, but works great for older kids who wear adult size pads.

Son used this for 1.5 season of Junior Football and now High School Varsity Football. Second game of Varsity and it cracked from a direct hit. Bought again because it was already used before High School and want to give it a fair shot.
