Nice shoes that perectly match my lederhose that I boght a couple years ago from the same seller, can't wait to wear them at a local Oktoberfest this year!I wear a size 10.5-11, so I ordereed an 11, but they were a bit too big. So I got the size 10 and they fit much more nicely.

This is high quality footwear. Real leather, the stitching is good and strong, and the sole is made of thick rubber tread for long wear.The “U.S. sizes” do run VERY large, however. Either order a half to full size smaller or use shoe inserts.I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for those seeking real and traditional footwear.

These are a well built pair of shoes they go well with the full outfit I purchased for my son while in Germany. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift but upon arrival it is obvious that there are shoes in the package and he informated me his shoes had arrived. I tried to convince him otherwise but he said he is the only one that wears a shoe this size.

i bought these in November (three months ago) and wear them everyday. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have bought almost all my shoes online and always fit into a size ten. When I read the size chart, (German sizes), It said I take a size 8. OK, I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. I like these so much, I ordered a second pair today to make sure I have them in 4-5 years when I wear this pair out. They are so well constructed, I may get 10 years out of each pair!

I don’t typically write reviews, but felt this was necessary. I bought a size 10 for my husband, he wears a 10 1/2, and he was swimming in the shoe. Sent it back and ordered a size 9. One shoe fit fine, but the other shoe fit like the size 10. Not ok!

Summary:I'm overall very satisfied by the quality of these haferl shoes. They're not cheap, costume-quality footwear, but something one could wear regularly for many years; even as casual shoes beyond Oktoberfest. Size-wise, unlike the lederhosen by the same seller, I found the sizing chart to be LESS accurate than going by my usual US-12 shoe size. Based on vendor instructions, US-10 would have been best fit. However, my usual US-12 size turned out to be the same length as my other size 12s, though I ended up preferring the smaller US-11. Based on my experience, if in doubt, I recommend buying your usual US size plus the next size smaller to gauge best fit.Details:With rare exception I wear a US-12D (aka medium width.) The measurement information for sizing these shoes is confusing and contradictory. There's a size chart equating actual foot length measurements to US sizing. Conversely, the ad states, "true to US size; order your regular size" and Amazon generated a prompt that, "12 will fit you best based on data from customers who buy the same sizes as you." However, when I measured my feet (thin dress socks & pen held vertically), the 11.5" measurement corresponded on the chart to a US-10. (Remember to measure both feet, as sizes differ on most people.) User comments weren't much help, ranging between "small; order larger" to "too large; order smaller."No US-10 was available, so I ordered a US-11 (11.81"), figuring the wool loferl socks (once the arrived) would be thicker than my dress socks. To be safe, I also ordered a US-12 based on the "true to US size" directive. The US-12 was spot-on length-wise, but felt loose and wide. My feet swam in them and I could actually pull them off easily when laced. The US-11 had sufficient toe space, but initially felt a bit narrow. However, walking around (on carpeted areas to prevent wear) for a half hour loosened the fit comfortably. Still, I'd recommend breaking them in before wearing for extended periods.The leather quality in terms of thickness, stitching and color was impressive. The lugged soles looked durable and felt securely attached to the uppers.

I got these shoes to go with my lederhosen for Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. They were great! Very comfortable for all of the walking/standing. The only issue with them is they are a bit loose. I think a half size down would have been good, but I typically like my shoes a little bigger since I have wide feet. I had no issues with these at all in terms of fitting my flat, wide feet. The only problem is that they are loose because of the way they tie. There's just extra room. Again, that's what I prefer, but some people might find it uncomfortable. I wore these to work a few times before my trip (I did switch out the laces for solid dark brown dress shoe laces) to break them in. I wore them multiple days for several hours of walking, standing, etc., and didn't have sore feet or blisters.
