    BT Amplified Bass Tubes
The new amplified Bazooka subwoofers feature the legendary patented Bass Tubes enclosure design, but with a twist. These units are completely self-contained bass monsters. Available in 100-Watt BTL or 250-Watt Class D amplifier configurations, the new amplified Bazooka subwoofers are the true solution to the common automobile interior problem of "not enough space for bass."

A Bazooka subwoofer adds the bass, clarity, and realism that your system is missing with absolutely no modifications to your car, its warranty, or its original audio system. If you are leasing your car, there is no better way to upgrade your stereo system than by adding a Bazooka subwoofer.

    The BTA8250D
The BTA8250D features an eight-inch dual voice coil subwoofer. As with all Bazooka Bass Tubes enclosures, it's optimized for corner loading. The Bass Tubes enclosure's port and woofer are on the same plane and in close proximity for maximum corner-loading results. And, just like a megaphone amplifies a cheerleader's voice, the corner of your car amplifies the concentrated bass output of the Bass Tubes enclosure.

    BTA8250D Features

    • Grill
The grill is both decorative and protective, preventing the Subwoofer from accidental damage from other items, such as golf clubs, groceries or book bags that might be tossed into the cargo area where the Bazooka Woofers are typically mounted.
    • Woofer
Bazooka's highly efficent, customized woofers are specifically designed and reinforced for use in the Bazooka Bass Tubes enclosure, producing a pure piston action and generating the maximum bass output possible.
    • Edge Roll
All Bazooka Woofers used in Bass Tubes enclosures feature large, high excursion, lightweight foam edge rolls to maximize their efficiency and overall bass output.
    • Tube Enclosure
A tube is a natural pressure vessel, and Bass is about pressure. The patented Bass Tubes enclosure creates a natural, uniform, hydraulic transfer of the Bass energy produced by the woofer.
    • Port
The port opening between the Tube Enclosure and the Port Tube allows for efficient transfer of bass. Bass Tubes enclosures utilize "Bass Reflex" technology to take advantage of both the forward and backward of the woofer, wasting no bass energy.
    • Port Tube
The bass energy created by both the forward and backward motion of the woofer are time aligned so that 100% of the woofer's output is concentrated into one output point.
    • Acoustic Damping Fiber
The acoustic damping material helps lower the resonance of the enclosure and simulates an increased air space.
    • Integrated Amplifier
The integrated amplifiers are performance matched to the specific woofers used in Bass Tubes enclosures to ensure that every watt of power is efficiently turned into bass performance. Having the amplifier integrated into the enclosure simplifies installation and eliminates power loss.
    • Corner Loading
Bass Tubes enclosures are specifically designed to take advantage of the natural amplification characteristics that occur when a subwoofer is placed into the corner of a vehicle. The corner acts like a megaphone, substantially increasing bass performance.

      Double Down
While this single Amplified Tube will surely deliver the goods, if just want more bass, simply connect a Passive Tube (sold separately) to the optional speaker level output and double your bass output.

      Easy Install
The BTA8250D comes with straps to keep the sub securely mounted, while still making removal quick and easy if you need even more cargo room. Optional Chrome-Plated UMS Brackets give a flashier look, as well as a more secure, permanent mounting when removal isn't a problem.

Bought the 250 watt and installed it in a friends extended cab s10. Easy install and come with straps which were handy. Bass slams. Absolutely perfect for something like this. Have the settings at 3/4 or it hits too hard and rattles. 5 stars

It says 275w at 2ohms but no switch for it. Its just not loud on 4 ohms and i was expecting a lot more for this price. Save your money and buy a chinese sub/amp. Buddy of mine spent 1/4 of the price i did and has a better sound plus it kicks way harder.

This is my second bazooka tube. I had another in my prior vehicle, but it was sold with that vehicle. I decided to upgrade to this unit with a bit more power and better frequency range. After it was installed, I realized it had the same ‘rattle’ issue in the driver at certain frequencies on short, punchy hits. I tracked this down to the driver itself after bit of process of elimination.Since the tube was already installed in the car, I wasn’t going to return it. I pulled the dimensions and matched a JL Audio 8” driver to it. Fired it up, rattle is gone. Bass sounds smoother and cleaner.I bought the tube as it fits well in my Rx7 as I have limited space. The amp is adequate for power and after swapping the driver, it’s exactly what I wanted. I paid too much after the price of the tube and the new driver, but at least now I am happy with it.

Good sound for the money and ease of hook up. Would have given 5 stars if it had a better attachment system for carpet. Maybe a very heavy duty velcro on the bottom to keep it in place.

This bazooka is exactly what I was looking for. I installed it in my 97 jeep wrangler TJ. Along with replacing the speakers with new Polk ones and the head unit with a Sony. I have installed systems in 3 of my past vehicles. This system by far makes the best most complete sound and I credit 40% of it to the 8" high powered bazooka. The 8" provides a ton of punchy high end base but it also surprised me that it filled in the lower range base as great as it did. I believe the lower base is achieved by the tube style ported box. The woofer is fully pushed with the perfect amount of power by the larger amplifier built in. I would definitely recommend this model with the larger built in amplifier it is worth the extra money.Any time that I do something I try to do it right on the first time. This system sounds wonderful and at least 40% of it is because of this bazooka. I have more than enough base which is great because normally I don't turn it up for most listening but when I get a little spur to let it blast the bazooka will blow your mind.It also easily fits behind the seat of my Jeep wrangler TJ.Don't stress yourself out any longer, trust me buy this bazooka and you will be happy.

Review on the 8" 100watt and 8" 250watt Amplified Bazooka Tubes (*yes, I bought two, and regret it):Purchased the Amplified 100watt x 8in powered subwoofer and installed in a mid-sized hatchback, corner loaded, and dedicated power runs to the Bazooka tube, and after turning it on (remote switch lead - orange - requires 12v to arm internal relay), the sound output was dismal, and yes, I switched the Phase Switch to see if high power speaker leads were out of phase, and they weren't - it just doesn't have much thump. Placing your finger on the speaker cone, you can feel it pulsing to the correct beat - it's just not putting out much sound. Figuring this was likely due to the open rear hatch during installation, I closed it all up and took it for a drive. No better than the factory amp 6" subwoofer which mounted inside my spare in the trunk (Bose Factory system). Disappointed, to say the least, with most of my bass range coming out of the front speakers, it's horrendous that Bose got it better from the factory.I even tried hooking it up to a separate 12V battery I had around to see if it was a poor connection at the power lead or ground, and still no better. Switched the speaker leads to see if a bad input, and STILL no better sound out of it. Wait, keep reading - it gets better...As this was purchased as a gift for my wife, I was determined to get a good sub setup on this car and I ordered the 250watt x 8in powered subwoofer and installed it in place of the 100watt Bazooka tube thinking that it should be more than enough power to get some thump out of the back. Nope - no better at all even though it has a separate connector for 12V power and a cross-over rheostat, it still suffers from not enough sound output. It's like it's not even there.Returned the 250watt unit, but unfortunately the 100watt unit was beyond it's return date by this point, so I'm stuck with it.After looking closely at both Bazooka tubes, the amplifiers that Bazooka is using these days are cheap chinese garbage that are probably PEAK rated at their stated 100watt and 250watt levels, but they're putting out FAR less power than that when in use. They're just not good enough quality to get any sound out of them in a standard setup, so if you're looking for a solid, easy to install and low impact setup - look elsewhere. You could do better by building your own enclosure and using a dedicated amplifier to power a single 8" or 10" speaker and get better base out of it, and that's what I may be doing in the future, or bypassing the crappy amplifier in the 100w Bazooka tube or removing it entirely and powering it with a dedicated quality amplifer. I know the enclosure design is solid - it's just the electrical components used for the amplifier that are weak. It's really a shame, and I wanted this setup to work out because I have an older passive 8" in another vehicle that's run by a dedicated amplifier and it puts out plenty of bass. The quality has slipped on the equipment Bazooka is now using, and they've lost me as a customer. One star for their past glory, but that's it.Kudo's to Amazon for taking a speedy return and refund on the 250watt unit, and I only wish I could return the 100watt tube as a statement to Bazooka that they should have stuck to their guns on quality of manufacture...I hope this review save someone else the headache of doing an install and finding out that it's a disappointing level of bass compared to what they're expecting.

I have a Toyota Sienna 2011 LE AWD, wich is a 7 passanger vehicle and I put this thing where the 8th pasanger seat that comes with other models it's suposed to be stored. So I took advantage of this long and empty space. I had it installed by Best Buy for close to 300$ (including a DVD player), but the lifetime warranty of installation is reasuring. The Best Buy guy had to cut some holes so it fits very neatly in a vertical position. I don't hear any vibration, the straps that comes with this has a "cheap" feeling but it does the job to keep it in place. It's a relatively big device and you can certainly feel the bass. Because it's class D I did not buy an amplifier. I also put the DVD player Boss Audio BV12.1BGT and my kids don't want to come off the car now...
