About this item

  • Personal Volume Control for Headphones | Powered via Two AAA Batteries | Locking XLR-1/4" Combo Jack Input | 3.5mm Stereo Headphone Output
  • Mono/Stereo Switch | Volume Knob with On/Off Switch | Convenient Belt Clip | Compact and Lightweight | Durable Metal Chassis
  • BATTERY POWERED: The BCPM-A2 is an active device and runs on two AAA batteries. This gives the advantage of boosting the incoming signal with the active amplifier. If you need a little more level than the source is giving you, just turn up the volume
  • VOLUME CONTROL: The volume knob / power switch is positioned at the end of the BCPM-A2 where it's easy to reach, even without looking. If you're sitting behind a keyboard or drum kit, changing the monitoring volume in your headphones is trickier than it sounds. If you can't walk over to the headphone amp or give the "more volume" sign to the sound engineer, the BCPM-A2 is for you. It puts a volume knob right at your belt, so you can dial in the perfect monitor level any time you need it
  • MONO/STEREO SWITCH: The internal mono/stereo switch lets you select the mode that meets your needs. Select stereo when you connect to a headphone output or other stereo source. Select mono when you connect to a single-channel source such as a mono aux send from a mixer
  • COMBO INPUT JACK: Because monitoring is so critical to your performance, the XLR jack features a locking mechanism to prevent the connector from accidentally disconnecting—like if there's a little tug, or even if someone trips over your cable. When you're done, just press the locking tab to disconnect. Not using an XLR cable? No problem. The BCPM-A2's combo jack accepts 1/4" connectors, too
  • HEADPHONE JACK: Use your favorite studio or monitoring headphones, earbuds, or in-ear monitors. The standard stereo 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack accepts them all
  • COMPACT AND DURABLE: Thanks to the BCPM-A2's compact and lightweight design, you'll forget it's there until you need to adjust your volume. The monitor is made with a sturdy metal chassis that can take the bumps of travel and live stage performance

The Polsen BCPM-A2 is a compact and lightweight personal in-ear monitor amplifier that puts volume-boosting monitor control for headphones right at your fingertips. Ideal for keyboardists or drummers who stay in one spot while performing, the BCPM-A2 will deliver the audio feed you need without excessive cabling or clutter.

Designed as the active version of the Polsen BCPM-1, the BCPM-A2 is powered by two AAA batteries (available separately). The active amplifier circuitry gives you the advantage of boosting the input signal when you need extra volume in your headphones. Plus, the mono/stereo switch lets you choose the monitoring mode that matches your input source. The convenient belt clip ensures the BCPM-A2 won't be in the way while you play.

As some of the reviews have pointed to , you cannot put a line level balanced XLR/TRS signal into this ear monitor or they will overmodulate and distort. The Behringer P1 doesn't but the Polsen does. The Polsens are expecting an unbalanced signal of a lower db level.

Hello,We bought three of these items for an event we hosted in November 2023. The musicians who used them were extremely satisfied and had nothing but positive feedback. They especially liked the fact that they could adjust the volume according to their preference, which is not feasible with their counterparts that lack battery power or Amp power.I strongly recommend these items. Hope you find this helpful.Ollie

I’ve used this unit for almost a year and although it works good, the sound quality is less than desirable. Even at low volumes the output is distorted

Restoration Church in Midland City, AL is in the process of going to the In Ear Monitor system to cut down on stage volume. This is an economic alternative to going wireless or using the wired behringer PM-16.

Maybe I just got a bad one... I don't know. But I bought this as a back-up to my Behringer P2. I received it and tried to use it one time at a gig. Sounded ok with lower signal level, like when just a guitar is being played. But when the whole band is playing this thing sounds awful... cracking, popping, static, completely dropping out intermittently. Very distracting and actually caused me to muck up a couple of times... no bueno!! Tried troubleshooting, to no avail, nothing made it better. Unplugged it, plugged in my Behringer P2... absolutely pristine as always with zero issues. Glad I tried it out and discovered how bad it was while my return window was still open. Buyer beware!!
