This is the easiest upgrade I’ve ever installed on my 6.7 Powerstroke. Took me longer to open package and read instructions. I idle my truck a lot and needed a way to prevent emissions system issues. This allows my truck to run a prevent EGR issues.

I ordered a high idle switch for a 2017+ Super Duty 6.7 and got a 2011-16' delivered. I reached out to the seller, which is falsely claiming to actually be BD Diesel. Ended up calling the number listed in the seller contact section (BD's actual number) and they told me "they are not the seller and have never sold on Amazon and that the claims by these sellers being BD happens often". Kinda sad really that they get away with claiming to be a brand they are not. Anyway, they couldn't be reached to straighten it out so I decided to wire it myself in the absence of the male plug the 17+ is supposed to come with and after about 20 minutes of simple electrical work, I got it wired tight and running fine. The switch is standard fair across both the 11-16' and 17+, I just used the stick male connection behind the passenger kick panel and found the connector positions it required using images from the 17+ photos online. The switch works perfectly fine and other than the poor customer service, I'm pleased. The 1 star rating is only for the business end if things and not the product itself. Hope this helps some of you guys out there.

I used to own a 2001 7.3L power stroke which would high idle when cold. When I purchased my 2015 6.7L I was upset that it did not have this feature. My truck was originally sold in Alabama without the cold weather package (no block heater). I live in the northeast and this high idle kit makes for much faster warm ups on the cold winter morning. Will bring oil temp from 30s to 130s in about 10-15 minutes. Easy installation with good directions. Very simple operation; Parking brake and dial it up.

Install went quick with the instructions. Worked right away with remote start or the truck running with the key in. Truck heats up and maintains temperature in cold weather much better now
