BD&M WII to HDMI Converter

Please Note: BD&M wii to HDMI converter is not used for upscaling. When using the wii to hdmi converter to connect the wii game console to the TV, please set the TV input to the corresponding HDMI port mode so that the TV can display the picture. The MAXIMUM native resolution of Wii is analog out 480i or 480p depending on the cable you use, which means the converter will NOT turn your screen into 720p or 1080p. Instead the converter will use the component analog 480p video signal and turn it into digital information to be send through the HDMI cable so it can function in 720/1080p device for better projection.

NOTE: This Adapter does NOT support Nintendo WII Mini

Got my parents wii hooked up to their hdtv. Cant speak on the big technicals, but it solves the simple issue of displaying the wii on an hdtv.Lag seemed minimal with basic testing, and using the settings channel you can set the wii to 16:9 aspect ratio for full screen viewing.Very pleased.

Super cheap and worked flawlessly. Overall build looks good and as far as i can tell this is at the same quality level of name brand adapters that cost 5 times the price of this. If you spend a little time researching products here through Amazon, you can find some really great deals. This adapter is one of those great deals. Spend no more time looking because based on a few hours of searching and researching you cant beat this one.

This was exactly what we needed and it worked straight out of the box. Our newer TV only has HDMI and this adapter worked great. It was an easier and more compact solution that the powered VGA to HDMI setups that involve several cords and require a power outlet.

My Wii works fine with the old composite cords and connects to any TV with a compatible plug. I ordered this to switch to a newer TV with only HDMI, but it never powers up. I switched to the old TV that worked with the Composite plug and tried with this HDMI converter, and it didn't power up either.This product didn't work on any of the tv or monitors in my home. please save yourself the time.
