Excellent replacement transformer, voltage and current are correct and this is fused to protect board and transformer from dead shorts that can occur on the wire to the compressor contactor from wire cuts.As with other commenters, the one thing you need to do is purchase Number 6 machine screws minimum 2 inches long as the transformer is thicker. I used #6x2 inch self tapping drywall screws, but I would use # 6 X 2" Stainless Steel Pan Head Phillips Sheet Metal Screws (Pack of 12) on Amazon at same purchase or something similar.

what i liked about the product was that it is fused unit . when installed it tripped the fuse and i found outthat the wire feeding back to the thermostat was grounded, replaced wires ,works perfect.

It does not come with screws, which makes sense ... because you "might" be able to use the screws that were holding your old transformer, in your furnace. For me however, I did have to purchase longer screws at the local hardware store, since the ones that were on my original Transformer were about 1/2" too short. But, I got it all connected... and my gas furnace is working and starting up just fine! Make sure to have the breaker to the furnace turned OFF before installing. Thanks so much. :-)

Upgrade unit is thicker and the original machine screws are not long enough. Actually to mount need 2". Had to drive 40 miles to mount the unit right. Not everyone keeps a supply of machine screws around. Why not include them in the package.

Used this product on my furnace. Worked fine except that I had to make my own mounting bracket for it.

This was used to replaced my old transformer that went out due to a short caused by mice chewing thru the thermostat wire. My HVAC unit is from Corseaire (same as Rheem, I think) that used Basler. The form factor on this transformer is an exact match. I have cold air again in my house now!

We got exactly what we ordered product is as described in the description. I husband was trying to fix our heating unit but it turns out that this is not the part that’s not Functioning!
