This thing is great. I love it, and I've been using it for the last 6 months. I primarily use this for gaming and Discord communication. People keep saying that they want me to read them audiobooks because my microphone sounds so good. I have this combined with a small elgato stream deck and love that I can turn the ring red when the mic is muted and colorful when it's live.

I'm going to tell you this you're very likely not going to know what you are doing with the sound settings and moreover out of the box it's great but you can really find tune exactly how you want to sound with this thing. Do not underestimate that. Definitely a fantastic MIC! the built-in noise suppression is top tier and I really love the fact that I can yell and not have it clip or blow anyone ear off due to the built-in technology in the mic itself. Might seem like an oddball purchase or niche Mic but the truth is is there's not enough mics like this one. This is truly a mic in its own class and you have to treat it that way. And being that this is the first gen of this mic, the sound equalizer to shape how you want it to sound is definitely a learning curve - and bit overwhelming but with a lot of YouTube videos practice and watching the same YouTube videos over the last year I've been able to just patiently sit down and figure it out. If you are an audio engineer or are familiar with equalizers you shouldn't really have an issue and you will probably really like this out of the box. If you are new to the mic game to be completely honest it might be simpler for you to just go with a shure or something else but the truth is if you're willing to sit there and learn it and figure it out it is top tier for the price. In my opinion if shure were to come out with the mic that had the same technology this has they would easily charge 500 plus dollars

I got this after having a GOxlr and a rode procaster for nearly 2 years and wanting something simpler and cleaner.This is so much easier to use than my previous setup, sounds better and costs a lot less.I haven't experienced any software issues like other reviews have said so I would assume they are fixed.Would happily recommend to anyone

I have been using this microphone for about 2 weeks now. Here are my pros and cons and final thoughts.Pros:1. Quality feel, feels sturdy and even when you have to move it on the mic arm you can tighten it with it's own tightening screw so you dont have to spin the microphone all the way around.2. It can power 250 ohm headphones and the use of the microphones sound out of the box is actually pretty good.3. The software is a GAME CHANGER. The amount of things you can do with this is unprecedented. It takes time to use the EQ and understand it but it is far more simplified then most.My one and only con.1. Is it really worth it? Honestly I am not too sure. I was switching up from the Wave 3 Microphone and to be 100% honest, I think the Wave 3 Microphone was on par if not better then this. Now to be fair, they are two completely different microphones (with one of them being dynamic and one being condenser). One is for more of a broadcast voice and the other is for a more natural sounding, picking up all sounds, type of microphone.I think this is a solid 9/10 and you are definitely getting plenty with this device but if you want something on budget with the same quality. The Wave microphone (1 or 3) is definitely fantastic option.
