The extra- spring wire is kink-resistant and has a specially designed eye that automatically collapses and instantly reshapes when it is pulled through the bead. I tat (make handmade lace) and these needles work for a variety of size threads and beads. I've used a lot of different brands, and styles. None are as good as these. They do come in sizes so I recommend always starting at medium and then see if you need a different type. The small aren't good for some of my thread sizes. I've never used the large.I highly recommend them.

These are a great value, and I always appreciate free shipping, but I would have preferred some padding in the envelope to protect the needles. They seem fine on arrival, but the shipping seemed a little flimsy.

easy to thread and works through most canvas easily. They do break after a while, but they're not very costly so I always keep spares
