I found that the ends of these were not that well polished and they have a rather sharp edge to them. This might not be an issue, and I suppose I could get some very fine abrasive and try to round them a bit myself, but having had actual dental spatulas, these are not near the quality. Should be fine for any work that this isn't important for.
