Fair at best. Puck barely bounces back

This hockey puck rebounder is super durable and high quality. It is quite spendy, and could maybe go for less than $130. Works as it should.

My wife bought me the long one for Christmas. It has worked great. It does not send the pucks back as fast as a steel one, but I find it more realistic with youth players. My only complaint is the spikes; I wish there were slots, like a channel, where you could loosen the screws and slide the spikes up and down without having to completely undo them and flip them. We are always rushed off the ice, and I am having to deal with that afterward. It is extremely light, rugged, and holding up well.

This hockey rebounder has been overengineered to work in any setting. The retractable teeth are the biggest reason you can use it anywhere. The heavy rubber bumpers are why you'd want to.I've used lots of rebounders over the years. This one has the most heft/meat to it. It sends pucks in the most realistic manner of any I've used. The heavy rubber has some give, but it's close to a perfect spring, absorbing very little energy. When you use it in practice it's not going to be the only thing on the ice (or cement/asphalt). It needs to be part of a larger drill system. But, it's going to be a crucial spot. It mimics a pass return or bank off the wall very well without having the variable of another player interfering with the repetitive training. It's expensive, but so is all the good hockey gear. This isn't soccer!

I got this to use with our Bantam team during practice.Using the included spikes this beam held the ice perfectly and never moved.I was actually concerned that the foam pad would not offer enough rebound, but it worked great. We have a couple of other brand rebounders at the rink, but they are very heavy and too long. The smaller 40" version works great for drills with more skating.A little on the pricey side, but very sturdy. My only concern is that the screws that hold the spike in place could get damaged. I will update this review if I see any issues over the course of the season. (hence my 4 star review)
