Didn't love it for making soap. Won't use again due to the strong scent which interfered with the intended scent. It's thick so you have to pour quickly. The color is kinda fun, mixed it with a turquoise colored soap base.

This product has a slight, pleasant scent. It’s a 2lb block broken up into smaller scored blocks, making it simple to measure out what I need for my project. I usually make CP soap but I have a few projects that I want to do with melt and pour. Because I give many of my soaps away, I really need to have an accurate ingredients list of all products in the soaps. There is not a full ingredients list on the product that I received (see photo). It’s a bit funny because it actually says “etc”. I might have to use this just for fun and practice, and I am totally fine with that.

Precut-- soap base. You can add active carbon to make charcoal soap -- but the base does not have any charcoal in the ingredients. The base feels like the clear regular aloe base soap squares. There isn't anything wrong with the base-- but-- you cannot give to someone and say it is charcoal based. Okay for personal use only!

This BEAUTI4U 2LB Soap Base is supposed to be a charcoal soap; TBH I'm confused what it actually is. The page description says coconut oil in component aloe soap. The front label says goat milk soap base and the ingredient list does not list goat milk, charcoal or aloe. It most likely does not meet US FDA labeling requirements. Its appearance reminds me of a dark purple glycerin soap I bought at the dollar store a few years back. Plus it has a rather cloying floral? scent that I mostly covered up with rosemary essential oil and dried rosemary leaves, plus I added a small amount of activated charcoal I had lying around. It did melt and pour like it should and provides moderate lather, so I gave it 2 stars.
