I have had a few different sewing kits over my lifetime, but eventually they get broken, or lost, or just stuffed in luggage and forgotten. I wanted to have something small and sturdy for my backpack since most sewing kits I have had were bare minimum. This looked like a good choice.THE STORAGE BOXThis comes in a really sturdy box with all of the sewing kits inside. The kits are divided into colors and sections in cello bags. You can easily store the kits in the box until you are ready to use them or give them away.SIZEThe size of the kits is about the size of a compact of powder for the purse. It has a latch and hinge and shuts tight.COLORSI like that there are mostly blue and pink vs black of these. Black is so easy to get lost in a purse or luggage.STURDY?These are sturdy, but over time, the hinges could break or if dropped in a purse or bag they could crack. That is the beauty of having replacements if I need them.CONTENTSI have to say, this is a simple kit, but it is the nicest selection of tools I have seen in the smallest case yet. The buttons, snaps, pins, scissors all are perfect to cover all of the basics beyond thread and needles. I really like this a lot. I am putting one in my backpacks, purse, and luggage. Everyone I know is getting one as a gift, which they all seem to apprecaite.THE BOTTOM LINENothing is as handy has as a small sewing kit for emergency repairs. This one has the most versatile contents in the smallest compact I have had yet.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I know 50 of these is a lot, but they make great gifts. I might even leave some as a tip in a restaurant with the cash tip. I know it would be a great gift to get for many women and some guys.

These are incredibly small and cute little sewing kits. I've never seen scissors this small. It's handy to carry in a purse, pocket, backpack just in case you lose a button or something. Inside is a safety pin, four straight pins with pearls on the end, four needles, several colors of thread, a sew-on snap, a couple little buttons, a little pair of scissors (VERY little) and a tiny tweezers. Oh, and lest I forget, a needle threader. It may not seem like much but when you need something this kit contains it's almost priceless. lol The kit is very sturdy and it's very small so it can take up almost no room in a pocket.

This is a wonderful set of many portable sewing kits. I keep it around the house and in my travel bags because never know when a purse strap or clothing item might need immediate repair. It comes with the essentials and is packaged nicely. They'd also make a great gift set for fashion camp buddies because it's affordable and comes with a lot.
