Bought this to replace failing original unit. After 6 or 7 months it completely failed... Oil was being forced 5hru cylinders, leaking out of gasket of this part too, idle was up and down... Total fail... Ordered a new one AGAIN

After installing this on my 2012 VW CC, this destroyed my vehicle in the end the oil clogged up and ended up more loss of oil even before installing this. This occurred less than 1000 miles of driving post installation of PVC...Never will I buy aftermarket part such as PVC...

Great quality. Didn't necessarily fix my misfire issue but I bought knowing this and was happy that it came with the gasket and was delivered quick. Took about 15 minutes to swap it out on my car.

Bought it for my 2009 B8 A4 and it replaced my broken PCV system. Very easy to change, took about 10 minutes with a t27. However my car was still having the same misfire issue, not as bad as before though so I brought it to Audi. They told me yes this was the correct PCV for my car but that the company updates these PCV units every year, so since this specific item I bought was not the latest PCV unit, they had to put another PCV unit on? Honestly not sure if any of that is true or if they were trying to give me the run around to buy a PCV straight from them. Anyways, if you're having a PCV issue make sure you get it fixed right away or it will blow our your rear main seal, like it did to mine! Save yourself an 11 hour, $1300 labor job for a $30 gasket!!

As the unknowing owner of a 2008.5 GTI, I learned the hard way which engine it has. This works for the 2008.5 TSI engine (mid-model year change). It will not work for the original 2008 FSI. I had asked at the parts store for a 2008 GTI replacement. I had to return the incorrect one and located this one on Amazon since the stores around here don't seem to stock the correct one. Didn't take much to change out and it cured the constant code throwing problem. This is not your typical PVC valve that I grew up with though.
