This worked great for 2008 Toyota Highlander limited. I had to really work on it to pop into place. P0793 code.

This sensor appears to be an OEM replacement for the transmission intermediate shaft speed sensor on my son’s 2008 Lexus RX 350. It is definitely not the cheapest replacement available, but it’s much less expensive than the dealer, and likely the same part. This is the sensor on the TOP of the transmission (shaft speed sensor 1, blue), under the air cleaner, NOT the sensor under the battery, on the side of the transmission (sensor 2, black). This sensor appears identical in every way to the one it replaced, and should be a direct replacement for Toyota part numbers 89413-48010/89413-48020. I checked the resistance of this sensor before installation, and it was exactly as spec’ed at 660 ohms, right where it’s supposed to be.This sensor is widely used in many Toyota vehicles with transverse mounted 2GR-FE motors, so it will probably fit position 1 in quite a few Siennas, RAV4’s etc. This sensor was replaced to correct P0793 and P0776 codes, car is running fine after replacement, which is pretty easy and should take 60-90 minutes with modest mechanical skills, unless you have to solder/repair the associated wiring harness like I did. 🫤

I tried useing the other cheaper speed sensors and they are all too short- this one is like OEM and works perfect for my 2006 Sienna
