This seal fit on my thermostat just fine, but was too large in diameter for my thermostat housing. I ordered this even though Amazon said it was not intended for my car because one of the reviewers said it worked well with the thermostat I was using, but in a different vehicle.

Great quality gasket. Definitely recommend. Much better than the gasket that came with my motorad thermostat (that is currently leaking). Looking forward to installing this tomorrow.

Not much to say - it's a rubber gasket that fit my Stant 45399 SuperStat Thermostat and 2000 Saab 9-3 perfectly. No leaks.

Bought this to finally take care of a pesky coolant leak on my 1999 Saab 9-3. This gasket actually goes around the thermostat, with the thermostat being in the small groove in the middle of the gasket. The thermostat housing then seals up with it.Easy job, sealed great, no more leaks!
