This is not a water regulator. It is an air pressure regulator designed to go on a spray gun. The fitting is not even the same for the quarter inch waterline.

It looks like a good item, but is not as advertised. It said 1/4 inch but was 3/8

Was disappointed, nice looking regulator.. but doe not reduce the line pressure..on the outlet side gauge shows pressure of line once you open the valve.. but does not show the actual out side line pressure.. It may have a use in another application.. But did not work useful for me.

I realized after receipt, that this is nothing more than a valve with a gage on it. I thought I would see if it throttled well at least. As soon as I pressurized it, it began leaking A LOT from the valve stem. It has two O-rings on the stem, so it could not be tightened. It just leaks right on by both O-rings. No wonder it was so cheap. Because it's cheap!
