POWERFUL HONEY BEE PHEROMONE
Bee Bait Swarm Lures are a highly effective method for attracting feral colonies and an inexpensive way to increase the population of your apiary.

HOW IT WORKS
The all natural components of Bee Bait mimic the nasonov pheromone, which is released by scout bees to orient the colony to new hive locations. Just a few drops of Bee Bait is potent enough to attract swarms to your bait hive and will last for up to three weeks.

Benefits to Using Bee Bait Swarm Lure
Guaranteed to increase your chances of catching a swarm by over 75%.
Unlike other swarm lures, Bee Bait includes additional natural ingredients that mimic the scents of a beehive.
Scent remains active in the bait hive for up to 3 weeks (depending on climate).
Just one bottle is enough to bait up to 100 hives!

WHY DOES BEE BAIT AND OTHER SWARM LURES SMELL LIKE LEMONGRASS OIL?
The nasonov pheromone consists of a number of different scents, including geraniol, nerolic acid, citral and geranic acid. Lemongrass consists of up to 85% citral, which is what gives it its distinctive aroma.
Bee Bait is superior to other swam lures because we don't believe 85% is good enough. In fact, we are not satisfied with only using one component of the nasonov pheromone. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

This stuff doesn't work at all. Tried to remove a swarm from a dead tree and installed a catch box and applied product to opening and observed for over 1 hour and seen no bees enter hive box, there was drops of attraction and in entrance area. The bees didn't come within 6" of opening. They were attracted more to sugar water than the attractant i purchased.I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.Mo

Have not caught a swarm yet but it sure smells good. Had a bunch of bees checking out an empty hive set up to make a swarm a new home and the lure was part of the set up. The empty hive I had sitting next to my barn, facing north, and at 3 feet off the ground. So had it been facing south east, and 8 feet off the ground I’m sure it would have some new tenants now.

A few months ago, I borrowed this product from a friend. I'd lost a hive, so I thought I'd try to lure one back. It took about a week, but almost overnight a new swarm arrived and took up residence. After buying a second, new hive, I decided to buy a bottle of my own. It took two weeks this time, but magically a new swarm moved into this one.

I placed a few drops of the Bountiful Bees in my brood box. Within 2 days bees were coming in the box. I am very happy with the results.

We have had bees make a home each summer in our barn for the past few years. This year, I bought a hive and wanted to attract the bees to the hive instead of the barn. It is still fairly chilly, so I was thinking it would be a while before we saw the bees. Needless to say, I put four drops on the hive and was thinking I would come back in a week. To my surprise the bees arrived in a swarm the day after I put the drops out. Maybe it was a coincidence, but it definitely seemed to work.
