This is good quality edible gold from what I can tell. I appreciate that it comes in two separately sealed containers. Here are a few thoughts I had:- The box it came in had a tamper resistant sticker. Each container also had a tamper seal sticker. I appreciate the extra level of protection both because it is gold and because it is a consumable product.- Each bottle looks nice. I don't mind storing it either in the pantry or in an arts and crafts area.Overall, it is 24K gold and it's perfect for food and craft.

Like any foil flakes I have used these are very thin and subject to static. They are difficult to control and when they are being used I have to be very careful. That isn’t a complaint, it’s just the nature of thin metal foil flakes in general. These take that to another level because of their being made of gold and being super-duper thin. Of course I do not wish to use them carelessly. So, I honestly do not know how to do, nor do I have a way to test if they are real gold. However they are very pretty and seem like they are.I’m planning to use these in a special project. Any leftovers will be also used in projects that are something that will be displayed or used, not the greeting cards I make which I expect people to throw away. When I do work with these I will be putting them in a box where I can manipulate them and not lose the extra pieces. With something this pretty and precious these will add a wonderful touch to my designs and bring that something special to them. And if a person wishes to eat gold, well ok, you do you! I ate a flake out of curiosity and it has no flavor. To me these are worth more as a craft material.

Not much to say - it's edible gold leaf. It doesn't taste like anything, but it's nice to use when you're feeling bougie. If you want to be precise about the decoration, this won't be quite as good as foil sheets, as they are difficult to handle since they come in a jar as others have mentioned. They are very much usable for non-edible applications as well, so don't feel limited.

This gold leaf is great fun to add that something extra-special to cakes, cookies, drinks, etc. The gold leaf comes well packaged in a tamper-resistant box that contains two tamper-resistant jars. The leaf is somewhat difficult to work with, as I'd expect for something so valuable; it tends to stick together, so a good tweezers is essential. However, it's great fun to be able to add that extra-special something -- and something that I've previously only seen just written about. It's fun, but futzy (but WELL worth it)!

This is a really cool product. The gold is in super, super, super thin foil-like pieces. It's pretty to look at and is edible. What's more is that at current prices, you actually get the same weight or 24k gold at the price at which it's trading on markets at the time I'm posting this. So, eat or save it, I'm very satisfied with this.

These flakes were a huge hit in our house. My teen baker has been using them to dress up cupcakes and macarons, and they look stunning! There’s a good amount in the jar, and they’re easy to work with for that little extra wow factor on baked treats.

I have never used gold flakes before. I thought these were pretty cool. I decorated some chocolate ganache cupcakes with them and thought they looked beautiful. They are extremely hard to handle though. They are stuck together in the jar and trying to pull one out just tears it so you can’t get a nice size flake and instead end up with tiny specks. If I were to get edible gold again I will probably go for the kind that comes in sheet form.

This was a great product! I got these so that I could make samples for my kiddos' rock boxes, and it was a perfect choice! Exactly what I would expect from craft gold foil! It appears to be of high quality, with very fine foil pieces that would be easy to work with for crafts and food preparations. The bottles themselves came packaged very well, in nicely labeled bottles. I was really very pleased with this gold, it was exactly what I was looking for! I would definitely recommend this to others as well!
