Headlining, Historic Monophonic Circuitry and Sonics In accordance with Behringer’s ever-growing assemblage of vintage-inspired synths, the MS-5 analog synthesizer revives and reshapes one of the industry’s most coveted Japanese-built synthesizers for the modern creative landscape. Boasting all-analog circuitry, two powerful onboard oscillators, and a 37-key semi-weighted keybed, the MS-5 supplies the sonic mobility and physical appeal of its predecessor, complete with a line of contemporary infusions, including USB connectivity and external input connectivity for expansive creative possibilities. Both VCOs supply selectable triangle, ramp, square, and pulse waveforms — similar to its dual LFOs with adjustable waveshapes — aligning the MS-5 with a swath of potential sound foundations. Farther down the signal path, AR/ADSR envelopes and 4-pole/1-pole VCF control ensure precise sound sculpting — complete with the original unit’s recognizable 5-slider mixing section for dialing in a preferred output. Finally, the MS-5’s built-in ring modulation engine and noise generation service adjustable

In my opinion the behringer ms-5 is good mono analog synthesizer that produce fat classic leads, bass sounds. You can learn from YouTube videos how to manipulate the knobs and switches to make your own special synth sounds. The behringer ms-5 has plenty of input and ouput options on the back panel. I very happy with how it works

Behringers range of flip top synths, this, the Poly D and the MonoPoly, are simply the best bulit synths in their budget, $500 is borderline ridiculous.Like the other two this is very close sounding to the OG but it has also cloned some of the flaws of the original too. I think cloning the unobtainium is fine but it would improve the synth not to clone the original bugs. That being said it nails the SH5 sound…it a very good build with a usable keyboard. I read one other review here thats utter nonsense written by one of Behringers many haters, pure cringe they're now writing Amazon reviews but whatever. I got mine from Alto, great price, they sell on Amazon too 👍

I think this company is actually getting worse. This sounds nothing like an SH5, or any other SH, or any other vintage Roland. Ultra generic sound. Looks like something from the toy aisle at Target. Feels like a Happy Meal toy. This company makes the most embarrassing gear.
