I've used these speakers for small to medium venues. They work great for me. If you are looking for a good clear sound without trying to blow out the windows, these are great. I experienced the hum and hiss in the speakers as mentioned in one of the reviews. But my son (who is an elextronics tech) said it was grounding problem on the elec power to the speaker. He corrected that problem and all was good. I would definitely buy again. For the price, they are excellent. If you have to overpower these speakers for your music then you have to wrong speakers. They produce great sound if you are looking for great sound.

It’s good for home karaoke or small group presentations using one microphone. But the lows are bad and there’s a hiss the size of a mountain.

This is a great tool to use in certain DJ situations. When you need sound in 3 areas of a wedding venue, this can work for 1 of them! You can use this for music in another room for cocktail hour, ceremony music, etc. Sound is excellent. Bluetooth to awesome. I love the ability to drop 30 or 40 background songs onto a SD memory card and hit play. Easy setup! You can also get the sister speaker for just over $100 that runs off this main speaker, the Behringer PK112 600W 12-inch Passive Speaker, no buttons other than power button, all control is from the main speaker.Highly recommend to add to your list of options at an event!
