These are simple to install, brake well but I was less happy with their longevity.These have long posts with nuts and lock washers that make it easy to tighten and adjust.The braking quality is good. They don't squeal. They respond well to the amount of pressure you apply to the brake lever allowing you to slow gradually if you choose to do so.The only thing I don't like is how long they last. I ordered them in May of this year and now in September I need to replace them. I rode around 25 miles a week or so. That said I tried another brand and immediately came on Amazon and ordered another 2 pairs of these, since the other brand was far inferior in every way.

Might be better to take your bike to a local shop, these looked like they’d fit even the right measurements but didn’t, and I have a run of the mill Trek mountain bike. Would be nice if they had a compatibility chart.

I was rebuilding my wife's 50 year old 10 speed that needed new brake pads. I found these and after adjusting the cables/levers for these pads, the bike stops on a dime. If or when I need to replace them again, I will look at this brake set again.

Seem OK however the mounting threaded stem for nut on rear could be a bit longer to allow washers to be put on. These are same size as old (55mm) which were replaced as they were hard from age. Time will tell on how they hold up. Are good so far.

I bought these for a vintage bike restoration. Had to replace those 42 year old pads! These worked great. After cleaning the rim and installing these, stopping power is greatly improved. The first set I got from Amazon was damaged. Amazon sent me a replacement the next day and did not ask for the original back. Great item and great service!
