Great looking helmet, looks to be solidly built. Be aware that it tends to fit heads with a longer oval shape as opposed to those with a rounder oval shape.

Things that attracted me to this purchase, half-helmet, Bell brand, built in visor, XXXL-available. My fat head extremely limits my choices 😊. I also ordered the clear visor, it’s a pain to change, there are a few u-tube videos, I suggest you watch them. The helmet came with a storage bag, which was a nice touch. I feel the actual helmet is a little small compared to Bell’s size chart. My head is 23-5/8” and this XXXL is still just a touch small, I was hoping for enough room for a thin skull cap beanie, but I don’t think so. The visor does not center on my nose, and I will have to modify it a bit with a Dremel. I read some other comments stating the same. I don’t think it’s the helmets’ fault, I suspect our heads are not perfectly symmetrical and we just need to make some adjustments. The visor does allow me to wear my glasses, yea! Anyhow I like the helmet so far!Bell… Comprehensive instructions on changing the visor would be appreciated 😊!

I like the half face helmet, fits me well. The one complaint I have is the visor in the front does not seem to lineup with my face? There’s a little notch that should match with my nose and it’s just a little bit off. I did check the mirror and my nose is centered on my face!

This helmet fits great, feels great, and I like the built-in sunglasses. Only issue I have had is that the wind still gets under my eyes (bike has no windshield or fairing), so hot and dry days will dry them out in time. But they do keep the sand grains and bugs out. There are some clear ones that can replace the built-in tinted ones, but I have not tried those. I would not hesitate to recommend this helmet to anyone.

The 3XL (same as XXXL) fits exactly the way I had hoped it would. I wear a 7 7/8 hat and the 2XL helmet, which I tried on in the store, was too small - even with the adjustable band at it's maxed out setting. There's some room left in the adjustment range on this one for an even larger hat size.As for the helmet itself, I would have given it 5 stars but I think the material used for the chin strap is a bit thin making it a bit more difficult to insert into the D ring. Now, this may not be the most favorable of comparisons, but the Shoei RJ helmet (almost three times more expensive) has straps that are standard to beat.I bought this Pit Boss helmet in the hopes that the buffeting noise I experience in the Shoei helmet, which covers the ears, would be diminished. It is, but only if I remove the neck scarf on the Bell helmet. The Bell is lighter, and a tad more comfortable in warmer weather (because less of your head is enveloped) but the only solution to the buffeting noise is a 4" over Slip Stream windshield for my Honda GL1800. I wasn't 100% happy being forced to look through the acrylic on the SlipStream windscreen, so tried a 2" over sized F4 windshield. Sadly, though the shield itself is nicer to look through in the fully extended position, the buffeting returned. So, I'll go back to the SlipStream, behind which this Bell Helmet (or any helmet for that matter) suffers no buffeting sounds what so ever.I know, TMI.I think most of you will be satisfied with the Pit Boss.
