Bought a used helmet, but the cheek pads showed wear. These made my helmet look new again

I dont hold the seller Directly responsible for the the poor quality of this Bell helmet product...BUT they are the seller of the item. I recently ordered these new Cheek pads to replace the OE ones that have been in the helmet for near 5 years now. The OE ones still function but were starting to delaminate the vinyl outer skin from the pad. I installed the new ones and within 1 ride/2 hours they already started the same condition. The picture below shows what it looked like after a 2nd ride which was another 4 hours. Cool climate/no sweat. These pads should last longer than around 8 hours, the OE lasted for years. IN the picture the ones installed in the helmet are the new ones, the one in the center is the OE and show its similar what it started to do after near 5 years, not 2 rides. I have submitted for a replacement with the seller as I would like to have new pads, hopefully this is not a mass production quality issue that all will do.
