I bought one of these last year from this same seller and I wasn't sure how it would do in our part of Montana but it did great! It arrived well packaged with a very healthy young tree inside. I have 4 apple and 2 pear trees I've planted over the last 17 years and I have never seen a fruit tree grow as fast as this one did. So I ordered another one from them this year! It's doing great.

This tree was supposed to come 2 to 3 ft tall in a gallon pot. It's less than 2 ft tall dormant and was packaged in a plastic bag with some wood chips. I ordered two trees the other one was perfectly fine this one looked like a stick. Needless to say I planted it anyway and said I'll give it a go, less than a week later and it's dead. Now I contact Amazon to tell them and I have to ship the Dead stick back in order to get a refund. I paid $50 for this tree including shipping. Actually I paid $10 per tree for shipping and they were both shipped in the same box. The other tree is beautiful, I will never purchase from the seller again, I'm out $50 and no tree. so buyer beware. I don't recommend them at all!

So my Elberta peach tree is doing well. It is almost a year old and made it through a zone 5/6 winter that had snow and frigid temperatures. I is now 5 feet tall and has buds forming. I live in the city so I have it in a large plant pot and it is doing excellent. I did not get peaches last year as it was still maturing, but hope I will get some this year. I came to buy another one since this one has been a success. Also bought a red oak that is like 6 feet tall now after almost a year. It too is growing in a pot until it is stron enough to plant in the ground. Awesome trees!

Came a little late but that’s okay because I did order it right before Christmas. The tree was just under 4 feet tall. I just put it in the ground, so we will see! Very happy with my purchase!

Tree seems healthy. It's very small. I got used to getting 2-3 year old trees at my local nurseries for $50-70, this one is clearly just a yearling. I wanted to plant this fall and couldn't find anything else. But if I find a larger Contender next spring for a reasonable price it's probably worth another $70 to fast forward a few years

3 stars because Ithought I was getting a potted plant not a bare root. If I order a bare root then I would have given them 5 stars. Maybe it does say bare root and I missed it but I typically never order bare root plants.The tree came in great shape. It has been in the ground for about a month now and doing great.

Beautiful, healthy little tree. Probably 4 feet high, has been properly pruned. Had fresh little live leaves already sticking out. My only problem was that I ordered too soon and after I put it in the ground it got cold again and even snowed. Now waiting to see if it survives.Update: After ordering too early, the poor bright green leaves got frost bitten, but after covering it with a down jacket on the coldest nights, it survived! then to my absolute delight, it sent out fresh leaves and shoots. Over the course of the first summer, it grew at least a foot both up and out. I'm SO excited to see what it looks like this spring. I'd post a picture, but it's currently dormant. Thank you DAS farms for a strong healthy little tree. I can see from reviews that some people aren't reading the description properly and thought they were getting a full grown tree. 🙃
