Not the size advertised. Disapointing... this is one issue with buying on line. You dont see/know what you are getting till it gets there.Got 1/2-inch size... dont know what tool of measurement they used or if they had their glasses on.Some of them are missing their noise maker inside... its just an outer shell.I would not buy again.

I hoped these bells would be substantially louder. I'd planned to use 'em so my cat could ask for a door to be opened. I made a string of 'em, and they make more noise rapping against the door than actual bell sound. So, my idea kindasorta works, but I overestimated the sound of the bells.That said, I still think these sound good. It's not like they aren't well made, and I intend nothing negative here. I simply over-estimated how loud they'd be. They're a happy noise, folks. I save five stars for those things that are essentially better than I'd expected, four stars is my typical best. I give these three stars only because I believed they'd be louder than they are, so it's based only on my expectations. If I had a choice, it woulda been 3.5 stars for these, they still sound good, and happy.

Work perfectly as kitty cat bells. I made the new kittens jewelry with beads, clear elastic beading string, and these bells. They work great for finding them with a nice ring sound. Kittens are about a month and these work great probably could also work for a full grown cat as well. Bells are of high quality with a nice ringing sound. I used 2 jump rings to attach them to the beading wire.

After reading the posts that these didn't have a very good jingle, I ordered them because my project didn't require any noise. The ones I received jingle just fine which is nice for my project but wasn't required. They are a nice uniform size, easy to pick up, and have a nice color. The "loop" of metal for attaching the bells is sharp. I am using thread to add them to a project and I do have to be careful so they don't cut the thread. That would be my only negative comment, but since these are going to sit still, thus not needing a jingle, I'm not worried about them cutting the thread from added movement.
