I didn't want to lower the whole truck, I just wanted it to sit level. Like others have stated in their comments, these lowered the back of my 2000 Lightning 1 1/4", which is a little more than advertised 1". I don't mind because that made the truck sit perfectly level. Installation of both sides was simple and took less than an hour. I'm very happy with the outcome!

Good, we’ll made product. Unfortunately it didn’t give me the height I expected. I had the 6400 shackles that are advertised as a 2” drop. The 6700 is advertised as a 1” drop. Should be a 1” difference. The actual difference was 1/2”. Not even worth doing.

These in fact DO fit a 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic 2WD. They lowered the rear about an inch and a half and nearly leveled the truck to the stock front height. Very good quality construction, I'll use Belltech again!!!

Great fit but to bad it does not come with new hardware for that price. It is a little expensive once you add the cost of buying new grade 8 bolts. And since you have to burn (cut) out the bolts make sure you buy the correct length. Would not buy grade 5 bolts for use on a pickup

I paired with Firestone W217602250 Ride-Rite air bags for a factory level fit and look for a 2003 2500HD. Works perfect, 4 hour install time, old bolts are stubborn to get out, no room by frame and have to take spring out. Truck floats on air after the kit lowered the back 1.5 inches and the air bag at 10 to 20 PSI put it back to factory level. Great!

These shackles fit fine and do the job. My only complaint is the actual drop achieved. This is supposed to be a 1" drop shackle and I ordered them for that reason. They actually resulted in somewhere between 1.25" and 1.5" of drop on my 02 extended cab Silverado. Not a big difference I know but I used these to replace 2" shackles that dropped the rear of the truck too low so I was actually relying on these to raise the rear end back up a little. They did but it was very little difference between these and the 2" shackles they replaced. I could tell by holding the two shackles side by side that there wasn't an inch of difference between the mounting holes. They gave just enough lift that I think I can live with it but it would have been nice to have gotten the entire inch.
