I was super excited to receive these, but I was very disappointed. I work in a factory and I crawl around on my hands and knees a lot.So a pair of steel tow boots last me about 3 months.So I got needs to try to make my boots last longer. They didn't come with adhesive I tried both shoe goo and even super glue, but I could not get them to stay on my boots for any more than like two days

They recommend the wrong glue. I’d just use superglue if I were you… the contact glue did not stick to them.

Cuándo ordené este producto creí que venía todo completo los protectores para mis botas y el pegamento para ponérsela y su presa fue que sólo viene el producto solamente sin pegamento y lleno de aceite en la bolsaEntonces no hay manera de poner el producto en mis botas nuevas porque no hay un pegamento para ponerlo y no se especifica que no viene con un pegamento

Came oily, I’m sure that was to keep them supple and bendable, so far they are holing up but they DO NOT come with adhesive to put them on your boots. I used rubber cement or shoe goo would work as well.

Once the glue (bought separately) adhered they have a good hold. Very rigid initially to mould to the shape of the boot but once the glue bonded they have remained in place. Highly recommend but ensure you buy the correct glue

No glues or sand paper comes with this but the rating is caused by the fact that these aren’t shaped rounded to sit even on the toe of the boot. I ended up not using because of this.

After a thorough cleaning and sanding of both the boots (removing all polish and coatings back to the raw leather) and the protectors (sanding and solvents) and following the gluing instructions carefully, the protectors fell off after a few uses. The boots are now useless because there is a layer of dried glue on the leather preventing me from adding any leather protection or polish. The glue appears to have had no effect on the protectors. I suspect some kind of release agent contaminating the fabric of the protector.

Did not let any type of glue adhere to it. Super glue, rubber glue, you name it. Absolutely worthless and chinese garbage. Do not buy
