This beach anchor spike is a lifesaver for keeping my jet ski secure at the sandbar! The stainless steel build feels solid, and it holds firm even in softer sand. I love the unique octopus design — makes it easy to spot, and it’s fun too. The 17-inch size is perfect for boats or smaller watercraft. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Great for a day out on the water!

Thick gauge steel with deep bite into the earth to keep your boat securely tethered to the shore. Large flat head makes for an easy target with a mallot. Possible to step on it to sink it into the beach, it all depends on the softness of the shore. Of course, the softer the shore, the deeper it must be driven into it.

Used it anchor our 28 ft center console boat to a sand bar. Worked fine, held the boat.

Picked up this kayak anchor that you hammer or step on into the ground, and it’s been a fantastic addition for keeping my kayak in place. The design is simple but effective—just drive it into the ground, and it holds strong, even in loose soil or sand. It’s super easy to use, and the built-in handle makes removal just as quick when you’re ready to move. The anchor is lightweight yet sturdy enough to withstand strong currents or windy conditions without budging. I also love how compact it is—it doesn’t take up much space in my gear bag. If you’re looking for a reliable way to secure your kayak onshore, this anchor is a no-brainer. Perfect for fishing or just relaxing without worrying about your kayak drifting off!

I was expecting a glorified tent stake—that is more or less what it is, but it's very glorified. :D I measured the sides to be 12 gauge material, and the top is 5/32" thick. Where the top and the sides meet, a very clean weld goes all the way around on both sides. I am very impressed with this product and feel secure in tying off my 190 lb Lighthouse Tender Peapod. Two thumbs up!

This beach anchor spike surpassed my expectations. It is corrosion resistant and anti-rust. I have this in a riverboat for when we pull up to the beach. Tip design allows quick penetration through the sand. The long pin structure ensures a firm and stable grip. Comes with a storage bag for convenient carrying and storage. Used on a 24' Thunder Jet

I ordered this to use with a 22 foot triton boat, the description didn’t really give much guidance on what boat sizes it is recommended for. Here is my opinion, it depends on the sand or soil you will be anchoring in.First the product itself, it is a little thinner material than I was expecting but seems to be pretty strong. The hole for the rope would not allow my 3/8 line through (it has a thicker end, close to half inch) but I was able to overcome with a screw chain link. I tested the stainless with a magnet and it didn’t stick so that’s a good sign.Second, for a pull test I stomped the anchor into the dirt at my house just using my foot. I do feel if I had kept it up the metal may bend since the ground is somewhat firm. There was about 12 inches of anchor in the ground. I pulled on it at the typical anchoring angle for my boat and I was not able to budge it. In softer sand I’d be able to drive it deeper so I am pretty confident in its ability to hold my boat. We get minimal wake and wave action so it is really just to prevent the boat from floating away. If you had a larger vessel or rough water you would want a secondary anchor.I can pretty confidently say this is a good sand anchor option for boats up to 22 feet that don’t deal with too many waves.
