I have not had any issues with adjustments, lag, or connectivity. The picture and sound are really good and the device feel sturdy. My only gripe is that, as compared to previously owned projectors, the fans are a little loud and can take away from the experience if you're sitting particularly close.

This projector is incredible!! Blown away by the picture and I don’t even have my screen set up yet. 10/10 would recommend

Bright, even in moderate sun. Loud enough so it can fill a moderate size living room w/o additional speakers. Has several built in setting, but is also very customisable and the picture is very sharp. It has 2 HDMI ports so we rarely have to do any cable swapping. We have had this project for over a year and are very happy with it. If it had a network connection it would get 5 stars. We attach a Roku type device and do all our streaming using that.

The picture quality is great. It gets a bit warm but as long as you rent using it for hours with out air flow it should be ok. She's quiet as can be too!We use it for games and movies in place of our tv. Longest I have gone gaming with it was 6 hrs. Didn't notice any latency. The speaker from the unit is not great. I hooked up some computer speakers for the time being (situated behind the viewer and reversed) and it's not as bad as expected. The colors and brightness are really great, I've used it in complete dark and with a dim lamp on with little loss to color. One thing I didn't realize when I purchased was that the usb on the back was only for power not reading. That's ok, it powers the Chromecast plugged into it.

This is my third projector (over the past 20 years). My last projector was about ten years old and due for a bulb so, with all of the tech advancements, replacing it with a new unit made sense. I use a 108" (9 ft.) diagonal screen. This BenQ is very inexpensive (about 1/2 the money of my old Optoma DLP), but is MUCH brighter and the colors are more vivid. I'm running on 'ECO' mode and still had to dial the colors/brightness back a bit. The difference between the two is stunning. It also has a slightly smaller footprint. My only niggle is the dreaded 'screen door effect'. To me, it is much more pronounced here than with the Optoma (my wife doesn't see it). It could be because the picture is so much brighter/clearer. I improved it somewhat by de-focusing the picture a bit, but on certain scenes (lighter colored backgrounds, mostly) it is still pretty noticeable. If you are one of the lucky ones who doesn't see it, then this thing has a GREAT picture. This would never be mistaken for a high-end unit, but - for the money - it is reeeeally good, and a pretty huge step up from the old machine. That's not a knock on Optoma. I loved the old one. But 10-year-newer tech is hard to beat.Long story short: STUPID good for the money, buy it.

I have always wanted a projector and after doing a lot of research I bought a projector and did not like it. Having said that it was not this projector, it was a totally different brand. I chose this projector as a replacement for my first projector that I returned, this one had the features that my first one lacked; such as a audio port, zoom, more HDMI ports, and as a bonus Higher lumens. I also like to pay more for good name brands, as in my experience they last longer and work better than the cheap ones. This projector was what I was looking for as my entry level projector, I did not want to go all out on my first projector. The picture is great and clear and at no point have I wished for a clearer 4K resolution, I personally do not notice the noise that comes from it as I don't think it's loud, it stays cool during operation, and it is more than bright enough to watch in a room with lights on. My first big use weekend with it was the weekend of April 13, 2024 to watch The Masters and it did well. I even set my screen up outside on a very sunny 70 degree day in northern Indiana. I set it up in a shady area and it had to be fairly close to the screen for it to be bright enough, but it worked great and I got to watch the masters outside in the great weather we were getting. I got the projector for watching movies inside and outside with my three year old and my wife and it works great for that purpose. I have not really ran my Xbox Series X or PS5 on it yet, but my Nintendo Switch worked great with it and it had no noticeable input lag with the remotes while playing Mario Cart.I would highly recommend this product especially if you are wanting to buy a name brand projector with good specs for a good price. I feel the bang for your buck here is great and I like how versatile it is. It feels quality and I am more than happy with it.FIVE STARS!

I was very surprised with the quality of this projector, it works in our living room in the daylight with out any shades or curtains on the window. Easy to use and not too loud, super good value

It was hard to find reviews on projectors being used specifically for golf simulators. This works very well, the speaker is exactly what you would expect out of something like this..enough to make noise...dont rely on it, add a speaker (easy enough) the zoom could be a little better as I cannot find the sweet spot in regards to distance from the screen when you might use an iPad or a PC. I compromised and maximized the distance for an iPad and when I use a PC change the PCs screen resolution. That being said, very bright, even with the lights on, very sharp, and when I use just a single light in the room to see my tee box, it really shines. I will be using this for some time. My son heard “gaming” and it's “challenge accepted” as soon as I get feedback on it, I will update this review.Would I recommend for movies? AbsolutelyGolf simulator? You bet, I would highly recommend, just know what platform you will use and set it up for that..So far I like it a lot!

Although the projector is a gaming project, console compatible, and the specifications list refresh rate 120 Hz, you cannot game on xbox series x at 120 Hz. Additionally, the 3D modes are all unusable because just they distort the image in different ways. While it is bright, the projector runs hot and loud. But perhaps that's just the case for bulb projectors. Keep in mind that to achieve 120 inch screen requires a good 10 feet of distance.Input lag is certainly low enough to game with for anything but competitive fps games. The picture is uniformly sharp. It is plug and play to set up. So there are good qualities for the projector I really like. However, for full price I will likely return the unit since Amazon's product description was misleading.

I shopped around quite a bit for the right projector within my budget around $500 to $800 and this projector blows me away! Honestly it has better specs than some of the Epson projectors, is a better value and allows you to change the bulb when it goes out. That was a deal breaker for me as Epson their entry models become a paper weight if the bulb goes out as you cannot replace it! Makes no sense to me but would recommend this one. It is 1080p and very clear and bright, it shows up even in a lit room! It has manual focus and zoom, plus only has a vertical keystone no horizontal which is okay but not great. But for the price I can’t complain, so will be mounting on ceiling soon!

I want to preface this review by mentioning that this is my first projector and it has only been a week that I've had it. However, I'm really happy with my purchase so far. The picture quality is great and it truly is bright, even with lights on or during the day with the blinds open. The fan is quiet, which is a plus for me, because the projector stands just above our couch. Perhaps it's not the crispest image for a 1080p projector, but for the price, it really is worth it.
