Benzyl alcohol smells like cherries and irritates the skin. The lab grade stuff anyways.This product has a faint hint of cherries and does NOT irritate my skin.I haven't done any investigative tests to assay the purity, but given the faint scent and my skin's indifference to the stuff, I can't help but feel it's been diluted with dH2O, maybe 50/50.Again, I haven't actually done anything to give me an objective value of its purity. Also, outrageously overpriced.
