It's not worth messing about with the knock-offs. Just buy one these. You're likely going to eventually, it's better to save the money you'd have spent on a knock-off and just get this. You can spend that $15 - $20 more effectively in other places.

The brand quality usually speaks for itself and this movement holder is no exception. Have used it to service dozens of movements so far. Always holds the movement tight and secure with no slippage. Highly recommend over cheaper alternatives.

Feels very secure and nice to use. You get what you pay for. Expensive but way nicer to use than the cheap knock offs. Having a program of updating my watch tools. Only a hobbyist but its so hard when the tools are poor.

Very happy with this. High quality, smooth operation, fits pocket watches and smaller movements. If you need to hold a movement, and care about it, please just order. You will be happy. There are plenty of tools you can save some money on. I would say this one is worth the brand name.

The workmanship is beautiful, like all Swiss-made, Bergeon products. It appears to be made from nickle plated brass so it won't scratch delicate watches. I work on 16 size (16S) and 18 size (18S) antique pocket watches. This is too small for 18S and many 16S watches. It is better suited for wristwatches. I, therefore, had to get a larger size; these are unfortunately more expensive and difficult to find.
