Developed by our expert team of fish scientists, Berkley Gulp! harnesses the power of smell to help you catch more fish. We infuse Berkley’s proprietary Gulp! scent into the core of every bait. Berkley Gulp! Trout Nuggets feature a natural live bait taste so you are sure to catch the fish’s attention. Gulp! Trout Nuggets Dough Bait lasts longer in the water than live bait and is fortified with Gulp! flavor bits to entice the fish and provoke aggression. Water-based resins release scent as soon as the bait hits water. The scent cloud expands the strike zone and allows you to attract and catch more fish. The pliable dough makes it easy to apply on jig hook tips, press against the jig body for a stealthy presentation, or inject into tube baits. Gulp! Trout Nuggets store easily in your tackle box and won't melt in the heat. Best of all, Gulp! is 100% biodegradable. The Berkley story is rooted in science and fish behavior. No one knows more about what fish want to eat than Berkley. Our world-class research and development produces fishing gear with one purpose: to help you catch more fish.

Works better than the Gulp! dough, which I find strange since it looks the same. I thought it was the same thing but with less bait in it and just made it into a nugget shape. But I did have more success with two colors of this vs the same color Gulp! dough. Not sure why. The bottle doesn't say much, so it's hard to tell why this works better than Gulp! dough.

This bait is our go to for catching trout. We have had so much luck. The only downside to it, is that you have to really pack it on the hook, or it comes off the hook easily.

I went Trout fishing for the first time with this bait. The trout loved it. I’m not a pro fisherman nor a regular. My friends usually joked with me that they would all catch something except for me. Well with this bait I was the one laughing. I cast my hook and no joke I had my first bite in less than 30 seconds. After putting the fish in the cooler, I re-baited and cast and again in less than 30 seconds I had my second. The rest of the day was slow fishing but still fun. By the end of the day I had 3 and only one other friend had 1. This is definitely my bait. Highly recommended. Plus after an hour in the water the bait still hung onto the hook even with the current on the river.

Quick and easy to put on your hook. However it does not stay on the hook as well as traditional in a jar putty style.

I have tried this bait mulitple times now and, even though it is Summer, I have been disappointed with the results, as there have been no bites at all, not even nibbles. I am hoping that, once fall sets in, this will change. We shall see.

Meh, didn't catch anything. These tend to fall off the hook too.Honeslty I also live in southern California and catching a fish here is an equivalent feat to doing a triple backlip while cooking breakfast...so, yeah. They might work? Didn't for me.

Lot's of trout fishing around where I live, we are around 7500 feet in elevation so there's not many other fish. We fish primarily from the shore of local lakes - Worms and cheese seem to have done the best. I've tried a few spinners and lures but nothing competes with this if you just want to catch a fish, and don't have a boat.Trout seem to take this flavor the quickest, usually 5-10 minutes and we have a bite, and usually a hooked fish!We use size 14 treble hooks with about 2 of these nuggets, and some Berkley scent to boot.
