I recently had to toss the similar one I’ve had since the 80s. The triangle on this one is about 25% smaller than the old one, but that’s actually better for making the rows for seeds & seedlings in my garden. Can’t tell if it’ll last 40 years, but appears to be well made.

Super sharp, cuts weeds from every angle, speedy delivery, solid construction. Highly recommend. Store carefully, i jept the cardboard to cover the blades when it’s not in use.

I hardly gave nagtive review unless the product is almost useless with a high price. The product is not as it is described. The angle is not right for weeds remove, the metal part is too small for doing anything else. I returned it on the next day received it, but it would take 4 to 5 weeks to get refund.

My father has a similar tool from the 1960’s and he is 89 still using it and would not let me borrow it. Got this one and it’s sharp edge makes quick work of the island edging and removes grass and tough weed from inside the mulch and gravel driveway. Excellent product!!

It's a little heavy due to its very strong and durable hardwood post. However, the well-sharpened weeding head makes precision weeding around perennials, very quick easy--at least for weeds with short roots growing in moist soil.For dandelions and other plants that grow deep roots, you'll need a step-on weeder with at least four prongs, that allows you to twist the roots after they are captured in the prongs, so that you can pull out most of the roots. Sorry, one stand-up weeder won't do it all.
