The fireplace set is sturdy, easy to set up and nice to look at. Updates the look of my fireplace. I have not yet used because not cold enough for fire in GA

I think you get what you pay for here. It is a nice-looking set, but it isn't as sturdy as the set I was looking to replace. Due to it being rather thin, it didn't work well for me. It might be just the set for someone looking for something easy to maneuver, but don't expect much leverage. Also, I don't like the way the poker is designed - the hook that helps you grab logs is positioned so far down that I hit the back wall of my fireplace with the tip before I can hook the log. Would be fine for an open firepit, which is where this set is heading this summer.

I expected something a little different... the "brass" and brown appearance on these tools is a painted surface. For the price, they look good, and they'll work just fine for light use, however if you plan on using these a lot, I wouldn't expect them to hold up their appearance for long

We have had this in our cart for several months, and we are so glad that we finally bought it! This was such a reasonable price, and it has worked well stoking our fires. The gold looks much more expensive than it is, and it works great. Easy to put together-highly recommend!

This set is very flimsy and not well made. The selling point was always the looks not how heavy duty it is BUT the looks are terrible in person. The gold is just painted on and mine arrived scratched and chipped. There are brown paint streaks from the brown painted handles all over the tools. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because it is a good size but the set is poorly made. I’m going to return mine asap. Avoid this and get something better
