Auf etlichen Rezensionsbildern und auch auf Videos im Internet wird noch die alte Version mit der Scheibe als Sockel des Gasbrenners gezeigt. Geliefert wird aber die neue Version, wo der Gasbrenner mit zwei Metallklammern im Rahmen befestigt wird. Außerdem ist im untersten Segment nun ein Loch enthalten, durch das der Gasanschluss hindurchpasst. Man fädelt den Gasbrenner also einfach am Stück durch und muss nichts zerlegen.Die Geräuschentwicklung ist für einen Gasbrenner gering. Meine anderen Gaskocher sind da wesentlich lauter. Die Leistung würde ich als moderat bezeichnen, aber im Urlaub hat man es ja eh nicht eilig und was nutzen einem 3800 Watt, wenn das meiste davon eh am Topf vorbeischießt?Das Beste kommt aber zum Schluss: Der Gasbrenner ist voll Trangia-kompatibel! Er passt auch in andere Kocher hinein; eigentlich überall, wo ein Loch zwischen 68-74 mm Größe und Platz nach unten vorhanden ist. Er passt sogar in die Bushbox LF hinein – in die große Bushox/Firebox sowieso.Nachtrag: Es wird noch besser: Der Trangia-Spiritusbrenner passt (mit etwas Gefummel) anstelle des Gasbrenners hier rein. Das Loch ist zwar beinahe zu groß und Fremdhersteller-Brenner fallen bereits durch, aber für das Original passt es. So hat man im Urlaub Gas, Holz und Spiritus mit einem Kocher als Energiequelle zur Verfügung. Jetzt fehlt nur noch eine Titan-Version...

I got this stove because of the smokeless design as well as the size. I have several small stoves for backpacking and large stoves for car camping. This stove is somewhere in-between. I am able to strap it to the back of my backpack and hike into places where I want a fire and cooking station. I can also use it car camping which makes it pretty versatile.I like that it is large enough to keep a small fire going, and you can load the pieces through the top without the need to remove the cooking grate. It's a cool stove that I am glad I've purchased for my arsenal. I can recommend it if you like going camping and keeping your fires small and off of the ground.

I have been wanting to purchase a wood fueled camp stove for a while now.The idea of being in a forest that is full of fuel wood in opposition to having to carry fuel cells makes good sense when hiking.Overall, this is a reasonably portable and compact solution and is a good value in many ways!The legs lock safely into position preventing accidents, it can safely set on a table top or the ground with good stability.The stove folds into a compact size and features a sturdy storage bag.

My second set. The first one disappeared, while cleaning out the garage. Probably some lucky GoodWill shopper got it.Compared to the first one, a lot of improvement: 1) precision machine cut, 2) nice grill, 3) removable burner protector for grilling, 4) Air intake is redesigned with wire mesh, easy to adjust the flames.The gas jet's orifice is rather wide, so a large amount of gas shoots out, when the throttle is wide open. When lighting, have the lighter lit next to the gas holes. Otherwise, you will be greeted with a surprising WHOOSH! And any hair on your hand will turn to ashes. Be sure to light the stove from a low flame.With the throttle wide open, the flame roars, and hits the sidewalls, and then goes 90 degrees straight up. This is just too much fire power, and is no good for the thin sheet metal. It will warp, but when cooled, it returns to the original shape. I wish that the orifice of the jet is a tad smaller in diameter, so that it will be easier to adjust the flame size. The burner puts out so much power, so the usable flame size is achieved with a very little opening of the valve.But if you like the spectacle of the fire power, you will enjoy it. I do not plan to burn wood in this. I will keep it as a gas grill/stove.

Der Kocher ist perfekt für Bushcraft und Outdoor!Der Kocher kann mit Gas, Holz oder flüssig Brennstoffbetrieben werden. Also ist man mit diesem Kocher auf alle Situation sehr gut vorbereitet und sehr flexibel und er hat ein kleines Packmaß. Ich kann euch diesen Kocher wirklich sehr empfehlen!

Very easy to set up and pack away. Can use three different types of fuel with this stove so is very versatile. Gas burner functions well. Having good base can put decent sized pots or pans on this and be stable.

A bit of a puzzle to put together, but the carrying case has illustrated assembly instructions printed on the inside, and it went together quickly. This is a small stove, suitable for grilling a couple of sausages, or a single large burger/small steak at one time. The small size means you'll need smaller pieces of wood to burn (and lots of them), which are usually found all over in a wooded area. There are also optional pieces included, for when you'd want to cook with a pot/pan. We tried using charcoal in this stove, but didn't get very good performance -- this is meant for wood burning.

Does the job as intended. Not too heavy and pretty easy to put together. Brought alongside a camping trip and decided to use it a secondary stove beside our main fire pit. worked great
