This 6 mil plastic sheeting was used as a moisture barrier between a concrete basement floor and vinyl plank flooring. It worked as needed - this was by far the best value I was able to find. The sheeting is somewhat see-through, which can be useful if you are making markings on the concrete. It is folded in half once on the role, so once it is rolled out and cut, some effort is needed to try and flatten out. The sheet is just under 5 ft. wide, and should be overlapped, so keep this in mind when determining fit. It was difficult to get it to lay completely flat - this is likely true with any plastic sheeting, but especially once it was taped at the seams and the floor was being laid out, it was inevitable that there would be folds forming as you went along.I needed 650 sq. ft. and this was a single role with 750 sq. ft. total for about $45. Typical retails stores sell it in 100 sq. ft. sections for $15 apiece, so this was less than half of that cost.

Very easy to work with. I like that it is only 58” wide unfolded, so that I don’t have a lot of product in front of me and in the way. I used heavy duty clear boxing tape to seal the lapped edges together. Only used one roll of tape for all of the 750 square feet of poly. The see through poly is a big help so that I can still see the snapped chalk lines underneath. Best product I have used. Great price. Would buy every single time

I started off installing vinyl planks using an item purchased locally. I purchased this for the dollar value and am very pleased that the quality surpasses what I started off using. It feels better quality and lays nice and flat. Would recommend this for the quality and price.

I didn't realize before buying that its only 6 feet wide. just means more seams.
