Even though I looked at my ruler before ordering, it is smaller than what I need. I'll find another use for it.

Diameter is less than 8.5 in. I needed something that was precisely 8.5 in. This is closer to 8.3.handle is snazzy.Plastic dome is crystal clear but very thin. If I was going to keep it I would be worried about it breaking if I ever dropped it but I'm returning it because it's small.

So I didn't get this for what it was made for. I neesed it as a dome for an. Alien flying saucer lamp. It was perfect.

This is incredibly cheaply made. It is not worth one dollar. It is not at all worth eight dollars. The lid is ugly and is not even screwed onto the body. No screw is provided and it is an unusual screw. I spent over an hour trying to find a screw then gave up. I would have returned it, but i had thrown away the packaging and the return centers are not user friendly owing to Corona, so I am just throwing it away. Utter, complete waste of money. Just throw your money in the trash instead of buying this. It's easier.

I liked it very much but in order to cover 8" dinner plate, I hoped it had 12" (inside) diameter instead of 10".
